Doug Quiring has over a decade of experience Art Directing and illustrating projects in Toronto and Vancouver for clients like Procter & Gamble, Molson, and Heinz, BC Ministry of Tourism, Ontario Ministry of Education, Pacific Yachting, Canadian Traveller, and BC Restaurant News Magazines...to name a few. Originally educated at UBC to practice and teach Fine Art, Doug studied Commercial Art in BC and Ontario and has worked for various design firms including: Maclean-Hunter, OP Publishing Ltd., Re:Action Marketing Toronto, and Dollery-Rudman Design. He has won Helen Pitt Fine Art Awards for his strengths as an illustrator. Doug has taught magazine design and computer graphics at Langara College in Vancouver, and was managing art director for Pacific Rim magazine in the spring of 2003, while strengthening his company, REDWOOD COMMUNICATIONS & DESIGN.
